We had a cow and calf moose in the yard today. The snow and cold weather has pushed them down to the valleys. Mom, Dori and Gavin had a fun time tracking them this afternoon. The calf was all over our yard grazing.
Bunches of people showed up taking pictures. So Mom started taking pictures of the people watching the moose. She called the fish and game department, but they just said they were aware of them and leave them alone. So they are still wandering around the neighborhood. Our yard is becoming a wildlife refuge for moose, deer and raccoons.

It was one crazy day. The cats were totally not interested. They just wanted to hang out on the hot tub cover.
I think that the animals know that you have a huge house and yard with only the two of you to fill it up. I think that you should adopt them!
I hear moose is delicious.
